Keen Invites has been providing calligraphy, elegant handwriting, and unique styled gifts & favors for over 20 years. When making your choice of calligrapher, we believe that quality is the first reason to choose.

Once you have made your decision to go work with Keen Invites for your calligraphy needs we will have a few details to help make the process smoother.

When and How do I submit my order?

Please contact the designer with the requested details below. Our design coordinator will work with you to create a contract and sample design for approval prior to order placement:

Minimal requested information:

  • Type of Event: Wedding, Birth, Anniversary, Corporate, Solemn Event, other
  • Hand crafted or computerized design
  • Elegant Handwriting or Calligraphy
A 50% deposit via check or Pay Pal will be required at approval of sample design.

For Invitations & Announcments:

Keen Invites will provide you with an address list form so that we will have complete information when creating your handcrafted products. This should be a complete list of the names and addresses of all your guests TYPED or saved to a WORD(.doc) format document should be displayed exactly how you would like them to appear on the outer envelope, inner envelope and or place card. We are happy to assist with addressing ettique should you require assistance.

Postage is NOT included in pricing. Additionally, stuffing and stamping has additional fees.

10% extra blank Envelopes & Place Cards for mistakes are required.

All work is be done in black ink unless specified in the approved written contract/sample.

Dark envelopes as well as envelopes which are completely foil lined will incur an additional fee.

We can assist you with choosing the best product for your design and recommend avoiding:
- Textured envelopes and place cards that have a fabric or cotton feel
(the ink is likely to pool or appear like a spider web)

- Shiny or slippery envelopes and/or place cards
(the ink is more likely to run or smear easily if accidentally rained on)

If you have chosen stationary, we can try a sample for you.

Shipping costs are not included in the price and will be added on to the final balance.

Turn Around Time

Our design coordinator will contact you to confirm receipt once your product and deposit has been received. The coordinator will also provide a turn around time based upon the following:

25-50 Invitations - 3-5 business days
50-75 Invitations - 5-7 business days
75-100 Invitations - 7-10 business days

100 Place cards - 5-6 business days

Upon completion of the design order, our design coordinator will contact you to confirm completion, final payment arrangements, and shipping details. Upon payment confirmation, order will be shipped.

Keen Invites will hold approximately 5 envelopes and place cards as reserve for additional 'last-minute' guest invitations.

Please allow enough time for design coordination, designing, and shipping. Ettique for sending out invitations is approximately six to eight weeks before the event.

Mistakes

Mistakes occur, we are human. If Keen Invites makes a mistake based upon your written contract we will gladly rewrite the material and send it to you free of charge. If you provide us with mistakes, we reserve the right to request an additional change fee.

Please be assured that any information you provide to Keen Invites will be kept strictly confidential and will NOT be shared with any vendors or third party sales teams. Keen Invites doesn't appreciate others selling our personal information and we abide by the same rule.
